also say yes to things!! omg omg this was like what I did coming in to second term freshman year. i was going to stop avoiding hurt (regret?) — just kinda fuck it we ball everything. cus we only live once. and failure is basically all entirely reversible. you say life is short but tbh i think the same goes for life is long; anything that seemingly "destroys" your life right now actually is SO recoverable and truly not that deep. you're so so brave and you have done so much, and it's time for you to re-spark that audacity u had as a child and keep going but with completely new directions that are no longer defined by what other people judge u by <3

the most helpful thing anyone has ever said to me was "no one thinks about you as much as you do yourself". idk i think (especially at mit) people are too busy worrying abt their own life to judge you or spend that much time thinking about your life. you're being perceived but tbh only the way u want to !! that helped me so so so much
